Week 6

Busy Busy week here at the Camp, had our second workday and we cleared a lot of Briars and deadwood. There was a BIG turn out, over sixty people, many hand make light work. Because of the burn ban we could not burn the wood, so we stacked it by the showers close to my burn pit so I can get rid of it throughout the year. Want to thank Lion Brian Duffy for coming out and helping Stacy. Cant forget my daughter, Stacy, she managed the fire and distributed the food. Didn’t order enough food so I had to make a quick run to Subway. Sorry about that hope everyone got enough to eat.

There was also a second project also going on Camp 4, where efforts were made to expand the camping area and remove more deadwood to make a safer environment for the campers. More to follow on this in the future.

Garden had the first plants emerge from the ground, potatoes in 5 gallon buckets.
